Follow-Up Statement - Clarifications & What’s Next

Clarifications & What’s Next

To our artists, collectors, and community,

Following our recent announcement regarding unauthorised actions by former staff, we are issuing this follow-up to address continued confusion caused by public claims and communications from individuals no longer affiliated with The Holy Art.

Clarifying Misinformation

Certain individuals — formerly part of The Holy Art team — are now promoting a separate initiative and suggesting they voluntarily transitioned to a new gallery project. They have also continued to send newsletters and open calls using data and platforms that originated within The Holy Art infrastructure.

To clarify:

  • These individuals did not leave on mutually agreed terms

  • Their continued use of The Holy Art’s brand, artist lists, and digital assets is unauthorised

  • These actions are the subject of ongoing legal proceedings involving breach of trust and misuse of company resources

What You Need to Know About ‘‘Billboard Residency’’ “Art Seen” and “ArtWave TV”

We are aware that the same individuals are now promoting Billboard Residency, Art Seen and ArtWave TV as new and independent platforms. However:

  • Both projects were initiated while these individuals were employed by The Holy Art, and without disclosure or consent

  • Their structure, branding, and communication styles are built directly from The Holy Art’s internal concepts and materials

  • These entities are not original businesses but instead unauthorised replications of work developed entirely under The Holy Art’s leadership

We feel it’s important to state this clearly, as many artists have expressed confusion about the origins and legitimacy of these new platforms.

We would like to make it explicitly clear that Global Art Curators (www.globalartcurators.com), Arrival Gallery, Art Seen, Art Wave TV, and the Instagram accounts associated with the so-called Billboard Residency:

are not affiliated in any way with The Holy Art or any of our official initiatives.

These accounts and platforms are not endorsed by or connected to our organisation. To our knowledge, the individuals involved do not have a professional background in the arts and previously worked in hospitality. We respect everyone's right to explore new creative fields - and if you're after a nice cup of coffee, you're likely in good hands. But for curated artist opportunities and professional art representation, we recommend referring to verified organisations with a consistent track record.

We also wish to reaffirm that HOLYBOARD - our newly launched public art initiative - is an official project by The Holy Art, and part of our ongoing commitment to innovation across both physical and digital creative spaces. Like all our programs, HOLYBOARD is professionally curated, transparent, and designed to provide genuine visibility and value for artists globally.

We strongly encourage our community to verify the source of any outreach and to rely only on our official platforms for updates, calls, and opportunities. If you receive unsolicited messages or content that appears misleading or inconsistent with our values, we advise caution and invite you to report them to our team.

Your continued support helps us protect the values and integrity that The Holy Art has built globally.

Clarity & Commitment to Our Community

We understand that recent developments may have created uncertainty. Please know that The Holy Art is fully operational and that all upcoming exhibitions — including London, Los Angeles, and Tokyo — are moving forward as scheduled under the leadership of Evelyn Tsekoura and Angelo Tsekouras.

If you have submitted work or booked an exhibition with us, your participation is confirmed unless otherwise stated through our official channels. In the unlikely case of a cancellation, we will issue full credits or refunds, in accordance with our policy.

We remain committed to transparency, professionalism, and supporting artists worldwide through curated visibility and long-term platforms of recognition.

Looking Ahead: What’s Coming Next

We’re excited to share that a new chapter for The Holy Art is just beginning. In the coming weeks, we’ll be unveiling expanded exhibition formats, innovative digital showcases, and new international opportunities — all aligned with our long-term vision of building a global platform and permanent digital museum for contemporary artists.

You can still take part by applying through our current open calls, which remain active and open for submissions.

And yes — we’ve also refreshed our look.
Check out our new logo as we step forward, stronger and more focused than ever.
