A Message from The Holy Art – Leadership, Brand Integrity & Artist Protection
Dear Artists, Collectors, and Members of The Holy Art Community,
We are issuing this urgent statement to inform you of serious internal developments affecting The Holy Art — including the unauthorised use of our brand, platforms, and spaces by individuals no longer affiliated with us.
Recently, we have undergone a full internal review following serious concerns about the actions of a former co-director and several former staff members. These individuals are no longer affiliated with The Holy Art and they are now operating under separate gallery ventures which are not connected to us in any way.
To protect our artist community and uphold transparency, we wish to confirm that the following individuals are no longer associated with The Holy Art or Streeters:
Amira Boumad
Maria Suraci
Konna Mpourma
Oumaima GrissaMaria Christopoulou
Elman Chan
Amelia
These individuals continue to use platforms, content, and assets that were built, funded, and operated under The Holy Art, including Meta Business access and our previously established TikTok channel, which has since been rebranded under a different gallery name. These actions are unauthorised, and we are actively pursuing legal proceedings to address the misuse of digital property, brand identity, and misleading representation.
We are aware that the same individuals are now promoting Billboard Residency, Billboard Resedency.ai , Art Seen and ArtWave TV as new and independent platforms. However:
Both projects were initiated while these individuals were employed by The Holy Art, and without disclosure or consent
Their structure, branding, and communication styles are built directly from The Holy Art’s internal concepts and materials
These entities are not original businesses but instead unauthorised replications of work developed entirely under The Holy Art’s leadership
We feel it’s important to state this clearly, as many artists have expressed confusion about the origins and legitimacy of these new platforms.
We would like to make it explicitly clear that Global Art Curators (www.globalartcurators.com), Arrival Gallery, Art Seen, Art Wave TV, and the Instagram accounts associated with the so-called Billboard Residency:
are not affiliated in any way with The Holy Art or any of our official initiatives.
These accounts and platforms are not endorsed by or connected to our organisation. To our knowledge, the individuals involved do not have a professional background in the arts and previously worked in hospitality. We respect everyone's right to explore new creative fields - and if you're after a nice cup of coffee, you're likely in good hands. But for curated artist opportunities and professional art representation, we recommend referring to verified organisations with a consistent track record.
We also wish to reaffirm that HOLYBOARD - our newly launched public art initiative - is an official project by The Holy Art, and part of our ongoing commitment to innovation across both physical and digital creative spaces. Like all our programs, HOLYBOARD is professionally curated, transparent, and designed to provide genuine visibility and value for artists globally.
We strongly encourage our community to verify the source of any outreach and to rely only on our official platforms for updates, calls, and opportunities. If you receive unsolicited messages or content that appears misleading or inconsistent with our values, we advise caution and invite you to report them to our team.
Your continued support helps us protect the values and integrity that The Holy Art has built globally.
Clarity & Commitment to Our Community
We understand that recent developments may have created uncertainty for some of our artists, collectors, and followers. We want to be absolutely clear: The Holy Art remains fully operational, and all upcoming exhibitions — including those in London, Los Angeles, and Tokyo — are going ahead as scheduled under the continued leadership of Evelyn Tsekoura and Angelo Tsekouras.
Our team is actively working to ensure all submissions, documentation, and promotional activities continue seamlessly. If you have booked an exhibition or submitted artwork, your participation remains confirmed unless otherwise communicated through our official channels. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, full credits or refunds will be offered in line with our policy.
We remain committed to professionalism, transparency, and delivering meaningful opportunities for our artist community worldwide.
We are also aware that a new company is now operating in Athens using variations of “The Holy Art” branding, despite the fact that the Athens gallery space is legally leased under The Holy Art Ltd (UK) and remains part of our organisation’s operational infrastructure.
This company is not authorised by The Holy Art Ltd, and has no legal or organisational connection to our exhibitions, curatorial programme, or brand identity. The unauthorised use of our name, property, and brand materials poses a serious risk of confusion among artists and the public.
A video was recently posted by Konna Mpourma on the former TikTok account originally created and managed by The Holy Art which is now being stolen by them as they had access to the log in details. In the video — filmed inside the Athens gallery space legally operated by The Holy Art Ltd (UK) — she introduces herself as part of “The Holy Art Athens team” and says:
“Hello everyone. I am Konna from The Holy Art Athens team. We are beginning [sic] a lot of messages from confused [people] about recent changes. Just to be clear, our whole team — including curators and operations — is now a part of Arrival Gallery, Art Seen, and Art Wave. We are still here, we support artists globally, and all events are going to happen as planned.”
This message, recorded within our premises, intentionally misleads viewers by suggesting continuity with The Holy Art while actively redirecting attention to unaffiliated platforms.
We are actively pursuing legal remedies for the unauthorised use of our name, space, and digital platforms.
Artist Abandonment – Athens Solo Show Incident
This past Monday, one of our artists, Beverley Onyangunga was scheduled to open a solo exhibition in Athens, organised under The Holy Art’s curatorial programme. The artist travelled internationally for the event, only to arrive and find the gallery locked and unattended. None of the former staff now operating Arrival Gallery were present to open or manage the space. Beverley informed us (Evelyn & Angelo) and responded immediately to clarify the situation, as she is a regular exhibiting artist with us and was understandably confused.
The exhibition was never cancelled by us. The artist was left outside the gallery, alone - their opening night never happened. We are now handling this matter with the same care and commitment we have always shown, continuing to guide our team with integrity and a deep respect for the artists we serve.
The following day, Konna Mpourma entered the gallery space to film promotional content for Arrival Gallery, using the venue they had failed to open for an artist just 24 hours earlier.
This is an unacceptable failure of professional standards and a complete disregard for the artists we are here to serve.
Unaffiliated Galleries & Promotional Platform Warning
The individuals listed above are now linked to newly formed gallery brands:
Global Art Curators www.globalartcurators.com
Arrival Gallery
Art Seen
Art Wave TVBillboard Residency (@billboardresidency, @nancybillboardresidency & krisbillboardresidency)
These galleries have no affiliation with The Holy Art, and are newly launched with no official track record, curatorial history, or artist exhibition legacy. Their continued use of our digital assets, platforms, and content is currently under legal review.
Our Official Team for The Holy Art

Final Word
The Holy Art’s credibility, curatorial success, and international recognition have been built by its founding leadership — Evelyn and Angelo — through years of hard work, global exhibitions, and trusted artist relationships. No individual or group of former employees can duplicate that legacy, and any suggestion of continuity is both misleading and dishonest.
Despite this brief disruption, The Holy Art continues to offer what no listing platform can:
Curated exhibitions, long-term visibility, and a growing digital museum designed to elevate artists — not just display them.
We thank our global artist community for your continued trust, and we are more committed than ever to transparency, professionalism, and creative integrity.
Thank you for standing by us.

Warmest regards,
