Growing up in Thailand, Texas, Holland and the UK Sam has been exposed to a huge variety of cultures and people, making him eternally curious, always wanting to peek beyond the surface. His passion for exciting and entertaining comes across in his use of bold textures and rich colour. Sam has always battled with his over-active mind; getting lost in the detail of every new thing. This comes with its difficulties, and like most artists has its ups and downs. Sam likes to embrace his quirks as a human and likes to explore themes such as gender stereotypes, depression and awkward social interactions within his work. Telling stories and taking his audience on a journey with each piece.
